Contemplating Stuffed Animals and Chocolate at a Seminar

This autoethnographic piece shows schisms that arise between culturally biased aesthetic interpretation and culturally informed productions of meaning. Mundane signifiers come to represent worldviews in conflict, problematizing assumptions in critical cultural theory.
